dariaw posted the other day about topping preferences for fictional pairings and it’s got thinky thoughts percolating in my brain about the nature of Jack & Daniel’s relationship
In the post, Ronon Dex/John Sheppard, with Ronon topping John was mentioned. That’s not a pairing I’ve ever considered – I thought I was a McShep girl (Also, I don’t have a topping preference there which is… interesting) – but now that it’s been shown to me… it basically stopped me in my tracks and now I’m yes and please and now!
Any/all recommendations for Ronon topping John gratefully accepted… please, show me the love!
Also, as an aside, I’m watching Justice League and holy mother of… fuck me… Jason Momoa’s wife is a seriously lucky woman.
Right. Where was I?
Jack. Daniel. Who’s on top.
In my mind, it can go either way. As I said in my reply, sometimes I like Jack on top and sometimes I like Daniel on top. Sometimes I like a nice ‘fight’ for dominance. It depends on so much – situation, where in the series the fic is set, levels of evil, playfulness, location…
If we’re talking an even marginally evil Daniel, he’s always on top.
If we’re talking first season innocent Daniel, Jack is – but Daniel has to initiate the proceedings.
But that just happens to be how I feel about it. What do you think?

A good ending to this series
Saba and her gang have their work cut out trying to stay together and alive. With DeMalo and his Tonton guards trying to create the perfect world. They find themselves in a race against time with the Blood Moon looming but with the upper hand and a plan that seems good enough to out wit but with deadly consequences for some of our favourite characters along with some deception and betrayal. A fitting end to this series but with some sadness along the way.

Easter – and Spring – in general are times of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth, so, what better time than to bring this abandoned blog back to life. Or at least make every effort to do so because I really do want to do this as a hobby. It’s just a case of finding a space in my routine for it. And since it’s a long weekend, I can have a sort through and a clear out and figure out what I’m doing with it, what my intentions and goals are – not just here but all over social media
I’ve also started writing again. Jack O’Neill/Daniel Jackson, naturally. I just had this mental image in my mind of Daniel excitedly geeking out over something and the Colonel with his chin in his hand, fond expression on his face just… watching him.
And so, attempting to write it.
Once I’m done with the tidying up, I’m going to write a new introduction since I’m sure anyone who’s still here has completely forgotten who I am… stay tuned, folks!
